What's the difference between HTML Guardian
Personal, Professional, Enterprise and Server edition?
The only difference between the Personal and the Professional
/ Enterprise editions is that the Personal edition puts a watermark (banner) in each encrypted
file. Also the HTML Guardian Auto - Update Utility is only available in the Professional
and Enterprise editions.
Some features are limited (but enough for testing purposes) in the Personal
and/or Professional editions:
- the Enhanced asp encryption
mode is fully functional (there is no banner in the protected asp files) only in the Enterprise edition. This feature is available in Personal and Professional editions as well, it works exactly the same way, but is mainly suitable for testing purposes because of the banner included in each protected file.
- the Image Guardian
functionality is limited
in the Personal and Professional editions (protected images are watermarked). There are no limitations in the Enterprise edition.
- the ultra-strong password protection utility inserts a banner in the files protected with the Personal and Professional editions. There are no limitations in the Enterprise edition.
The table below shows all the differences between the Personal, Professional
and Enterprise editions.
